I fix the broken tech behind small businesses.
Wrong hours, dead links, a site nobody's touched since 2020? That's my whole job.
I grew up in Silicon Valley and spent ten years in tech and marketing — long enough to know what's actually worth using and what's just shiny. I also grew up in the water: a Northern California ocean kid who never stopped surfing.
These days I split my time between Santa Cruz, California and Canggu, Bali — two surf towns full of small businesses that make great stuff and just need a hand with the website, the hours, and the techy bits. I fix that — fast, properly, one human, no software you don't need. Message me, and I'll reply within a day — usually a few hours.
Why this work makes sense for me.
Silicon Valley brain.
I grew up around new tech being invented. I've read every product update since before Twitter became X. I know what's actually worth using and what's just shiny.
Bali street smarts.
Half my year happens on an island where small businesses run on WhatsApp, hand-written receipts, and tools held together with duct tape. I know what real working-class infrastructure looks like.
Marketing scar tissue.
Ten years writing words for brands. I know when a website doesn't convert because the copy's wrong vs because the form is broken. Most of the time it's the form.
Five years inside the AI shift — and still studying.
I've worked hands-on with the moving parts of modern tech for five years — from Kubernetes and infrastructure to AI design systems and building with Claude. Right now I'm working through Anthropic's own Claude courses toward their developer certification. Translation: when I tell you a tool is worth using, I've actually used it — so your business gets the upside of all this without the buzzwords, and your site gets built on what's current instead of what was current.

What I'm not.
- I'm not an agency. There's no team. It's me — so you always know exactly who's working on your site.
- I'm not a faceless dev shop. I build and run your site myself, then hand you the keys. No lock-in, no "only I can touch this."
- I don't hand you a strategy deck and wish you luck. Every consult ends in a ranked list of specific fixes — and I'm the one who does them.

I also write children's books, record a podcast called Talent Talks, and built a few free tools (Decision Crusher, One Next Thing, Freelance Quote Builder) you can use right now. None of that is the main thing anymore — but it's all here:
