▸ Hi, I'm Kaileigh

I fix the broken tech behind small businesses.

Wrong hours, dead links, a site nobody's touched since 2020? That's my whole job.

I grew up in Silicon Valley and spent ten years in tech and marketing — long enough to know what's actually worth using and what's just shiny. I also grew up in the water: a Northern California ocean kid who never stopped surfing.

These days I split my time between Santa Cruz, California and Canggu, Bali — two surf towns full of small businesses that make great stuff and just need a hand with the website, the hours, and the techy bits. I fix that — fast, properly, one human, no software you don't need. Message me, and I'll reply within a day — usually a few hours.

I used to write website copy + brand work for tech companies.
Now I fix the broken tech behind small businesses.
The work shifted. The unfair advantage didn't.

Why this work makes sense for me.

Silicon Valley brain.

I grew up around new tech being invented. I've read every product update since before Twitter became X. I know what's actually worth using and what's just shiny. These days that means AI — I build with it constantly, so I know where it genuinely helps and where it's just hype.

Bali street smarts.

Half my year happens on an island where small businesses run on WhatsApp, hand-written receipts, and tools held together with duct tape. I know what real working-class infrastructure looks like.

Marketing scar tissue.

Ten years writing words for brands. I know when a website doesn't convert because the copy's wrong vs because the form is broken. Most of the time it's the form.

The through-line.

Copy for Silicon Valley tech companies. A keynote on Human-Centered AI. A whole brand for a founder's eco pivot. Picture books that explain big feelings to four-year-olds.

Different jobs, same muscle: taking something complicated and making it make sense — to investors, to customers, to kids. If you've built something people don't get yet, that's the part I do.

What I'm not.

  • I'm not an agency. There's no team. It's me.
  • I'm not a developer. I won't build you a custom React app. I'll fix the website you already have.
  • I'm not someone who hands you a deck. I do the fix.

▸ Also

I also build AI apps and prototypes for fun, write children's books, record a podcast called Talent Talks, and built a few free tools you can use right now. None of that is the main thing anymore — but it's all here:

Got something to fix?

Send it over. One paragraph is fine. A screenshot is better.
